What DenLumen tracks (and what it doesn't)

3 minute read · Updated June 2026 · Privacy & account

Plain English: email, password (hashed), what you log about your subjects, photos you upload, and analytics events for screen views and affiliate clicks. That's it.

Steps

  1. 1

    Account data

Email, hashed password, the household name (if you set one), and whether you've accepted the disclaimer.

  2. 2

    Subject data

Names, DOBs, breeds, photos, milestones, weights, training sessions, gear, documents — whatever you choose to enter. Scoped to your account, not visible to DenLumen staff.

  3. 3

    Analytics events

Screen views, affiliate clicks, login/signup, milestone creates, calculator usage. No PII. Used to know which features matter.

  4. 4

    Gmail (if connected)

Read-only, only emails from a fixed vendor allowlist. Parsed for order info. Email contents not stored — only the extracted gear name/brand/date/vendor.

    What we don't do

We don't sell data. We don't run third-party ad networks. We don't share data with brokers. We don't read non-vendor emails. We're funded by affiliate commissions when you choose to buy.
