Connect Gmail for automatic order import
Connect Gmail and DenLumen scans the last 180 days of order emails from pet/family vendors. Items show up on your gear board automatically — no manual entry.
One-time setup. Read-only access. We never read non-order email and never save email contents.

Open Settings → Integrations
Tap Settings in the sidebar/drawer, then Integrations.

Tap Connect Gmail
Google's consent screen opens. The only scope we request is gmail.readonly.

Approve the gmail.readonly scope
This is read-only. DenLumen cannot send, delete, or modify any email.

Wait for the first scan
First scan covers 180 days and runs 3–6 minutes on the server. The page shows a progress chip; you can leave and come back.

Review imported items on Gear
Items show up on each subject's gear board with vendor + order date attached. Dedup runs automatically — existing items don't double-add.

If something’s off
- 'Access blocked' = your email isn't on the OAuth test users list. We're in test mode pending Google's CASA audit. Email arc04891@gmail.com to be added.
- '0 messages scanned' usually means your Gmail has no orders from our supported vendor list in the last 180 days. Buy something from Chewy or ONP and try again.
- Refreshing the page disconnects Gmail? — Fixed in v1.4. If you still see this, open Settings → Integrations again; the chip should reconnect within 500ms.
FAQ
Do you read non-order emails?
No. The scanner filters by sender domain against an allowlist of ~28 pet/family vendors. Everything else is skipped at fetch time.
Where are the parsed items stored?
Only the extracted gear (name, brand, vendor, order date) gets written to your Firestore. Email contents are not stored.
