Track development milestones

3 minute read · Updated June 2026 · Growth & tracking

Beyond weight, DenLumen tracks developmental milestones — first solid food, first nights through, first vocal, fear period, socialization windows — drawn from AAP, AAHA, and AAFP timelines.

Steps

  1. 1

Open Today (or the Growth screen)

Expected milestones for the current age appear as cards. Each is tied to a source you can tap to verify.

Tap an expected milestone to log it

When your subject hits it, tap the card and Mark observed. You can add a note and a photo.

Log unexpected milestones via Add milestone

Anything off the schedule — first emergency vet visit, first daycare day — goes through the regular Add milestone flow.

    Notice gaps

If an expected milestone hasn't been observed and is overdue, DenLumen surfaces it on Today with a gentle prompt — not as alarm, as a heads-up.
