Add a photo to the growth journal

Photos turn the Timeline into a story. They also feed the AI's drafted-notes feature — a few photos a month is enough.

Steps

1. 1

   Tap the + on Today

   Choose Photo, or attach photos when adding a milestone or weight.

   Take a new photo or pick one

   Camera button uses your phone's camera; gallery button picks from your library.

   Optional: add an AI-drafted note

   Tap 'Suggest a caption'. DenLumen drafts a short caption based on the photo plus the subject's age and recent milestones — edit before saving.

   

4. 4

   Save

   The photo appears in Timeline with the date, the caption, and any milestones it's attached to.

   

FAQ

Where are photos stored?

In your private Firebase Storage bucket, scoped to your account. Nobody at DenLumen can see them and they aren't shared with any third party.
