Chat with the AI assistant
The chat tab is general-purpose: ask about your subjects, the references, training, growth, or just brainstorm. It cites every claim and can propose multi-step actions you approve before they run.
Steps

Open Chat
Tap Chat in the sidebar/drawer. The current subject's context (age, breed, recent activity) is automatically attached.

Ask a question
Concrete works best — 'Bella plateaued at recall, what should I try?' or 'Is 14 lbs reasonable for a 4-month Aussiedoodle?'

Read the citations
Claims come with citation badges. Tap to open the underlying reference in the Library.

Approve proposed actions
If the AI suggests creating a routine, logging a milestone, or adding gear, it'll surface a 'Proposed actions' card. Review, then approve or skip.

Iterate
Chat keeps context across messages. You can follow up without re-explaining.
